Location: Denver, Colorado (Onsite)Duration: 12 months Role Overview
We are seeking an Identity and Access Management (IAM) professional for the role of IAM (SSO) Engineer. As an IAM Engineer, you will play a role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure authentication and authorization services for the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a background in IAM with expertise in Ping Identity products to ensure access management across systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide input for architect-level decisions and implement authentication solutions using PingFederate, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and other relevant tools.
- Work with cross-domain Identity and Authentication Services teams to collaborate on various IAM solutions.
- Perform Subject Matter Expert (SME) level tasks and consultations with SSO Integration and SSO Engineering teams on the implementation of Authentication solutions.
- Provide guidance and senior-level support on policy creation, modification, usage, and policy fragments.
- Ensure Authentication Services comply with industry standards and best practices, such as SAML, OAuth, FIDO2, and OIDC.
- Participate in security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments related to Authentication Services components.
- Investigate and resolve Authentication Services-related issues, including authentication failures, token management, and user provisioning.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for Authentication Services that leverage Auth, OIDC, MFA, and FIDO2.
- Create detailed technical documentation for Authentication Services configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting guides.
- Leverage industry standards for documentation using Jira or Confluence.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 5+ years of experience managing and supporting Authentication Services systems, with expertise in PingFederate, PingAccess, and PingDirectory.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience integrating applications using industry standards such as SAML/OIDC/OAuth/FIDO2.
- Expertise in Policy creation and implementation.
- Proven ability to execute projects independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, a related field, or commensurate enterprise-level experience is optional.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with policy fragments is a strong plus.
