Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer with strong expertise in AWS infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, Python automation, containerization, and cloud security.
The engineer will design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure supporting data lake, AI agent runtime environments, CI/CD pipelines, and graph database platforms. This is a hands-on role focused on automation, infrastructure reliability, production operations, and enabling AI/ML workloads at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage AWS infrastructure using EC2, S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, IAM, VPC, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch.
- Design and support AWS infrastructure for enterprise data lake environments.
- Manage cross-account AWS architectures, VPC networking, security groups, and IAM roles/policies.
- Build and maintain AI agent runtime environments.
- Support deployment and operation of AWS Neptune for network topology graph systems.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Manage IAM access, secrets, and cloud security integrations.
- Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and Artifactory.
- Manage container lifecycle, including image builds, versioning, deployments, and rollback procedures.
- Automate deployment workflows across Development, Test, and Production environments.
- Develop and maintain Python automation scripts, CLI tools, services, and utilities.
- Build integration services connecting upstream and downstream platforms.
- Implement production monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
- Support data engineering infrastructure and new data-source onboarding.
- Develop automated unit and integration tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Write integration code using REST APIs and AWS SDK/Boto3.
- Collaborate with data, platform, application, and external technology teams.
