Summary

Job Title: Senior Generative AI & Agent Engineer

Location: Detroit, MI (Onsite)

Duration: Long-term contract

Job overview:

Highly experienced, hands-on AI Engineer to build intelligent agents for AFG’s Inspection Automation initiative. The solution will analyze complex documents, extract relevant information, evaluate findings, and generate accurate, explainable scores.

Key Requirements

13+years of IT experience required
Proven experience delivering multiple production-grade AI solutions
Deep expertise in RAG, LLM-powered chatbots, document extraction, and custom AI agents
Experience designing document review, scoring, and decision-support workflows
Strong knowledge of AI deployment, monitoring, security, and governance
Ability to produce traceable, explainable, and auditable AI outputs
Excellent communication skills
Ability to train and transfer knowledge to AFG team members

This is a hands-on contract role requiring both strong technical execution and effective collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.

Educational Qualifications:

Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.

Travel:

· Open to travel based up on the nature of the engagement.
