As a Senior Software QA Analyst, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and operational readiness of a business-critical application being migrated from one on-premises data center to another. You will design test strategies that validate business functionality, technical readiness, database integrity, integration stability, environment configuration, monitoring, and cutover readiness.
This role requires a quality engineering mindset with strong test automation skills. The objective is to deliver exceptional quality quickly while building repeatable automation assets that support future regression testing, release validation, and production confidence.
What You'll Do
Develop comprehensive test strategies for application relocation, environment readiness, business validation, regression testing, integration testing, database validation, and cutover rehearsals.
Design, execute, and automate functional, regression, system, integration, UAT, batch, API, database, and operational readiness test cases.
Use QTest for test management, traceability, execution tracking, reporting, audit readiness, and evidence management.
Develop and maintain automated test assets using Tosca and other enterprise automation tools.
Use Jira to manage defects, test-related stories, acceptance criteria, traceability, validation tasks, and release readiness reporting.
Leverage AI-assisted tools where approved to generate first-draft test cases, test scripts, test data, automation logic, validation queries, and QA documentation.
Validate monitoring, alerting, logs, incident workflows, ServiceNow readiness, and post-migration support procedures.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of software quality assurance and testing experience.
5+ years designing and maintaining automated testing solutions.
Deep experience with QTest, Tosca, Jira, and structured defect lifecycle management.
Experience testing application migration, data center relocation, environment transition, or infrastructure migration projects.
Strong knowledge of functional testing, regression automation, API testing, database testing, integration testing, batch validation, and production readiness testing.
Experience with SQL validation, data reconciliation, SQL Server databases, and complex stored procedure-driven applications.
Strong ability to map requirements to test cases, defects, evidence, and release readiness criteria.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in fintech, payments, banking, accounting, or regulated environments.
Experience validating applications built with .NET, C#, VB.NET, Java, PowerBuilder, VB6, VBS macros, and SQL stored procedures.
Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, Moogsoft, and ServiceNow validation patterns.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD or GitLab workflows where applicable.

Establish a repeatable automated regression framework for the migrated application.
Improve defect detection, test coverage, requirements traceability, and release confidence.
Build durable test assets for future releases and production regression validation.
Support successful migration cutovers, business validation, and post-migration stabilization.
