What You'll Be Doing- Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Fusion 360
- Develop accurate shop drawings and fabrication plans for steel projects
- Convert sketches, measurements, and project requirements into detailed CAD drawings
- Prepare drawings and files for cutting, welding, bending, and fabrication
- Review designs for accuracy, fit, dimensions, and manufacturability
- Make revisions based on field measurements and fabrication requirements
- Work closely with welders, fabricators, and management to resolve design issues
- Maintain organized CAD files and project revisions
- Ensure drawings are accurate and ready for production
What We're Looking For- CAD experience required
- Autodesk Fusion 360 experience strongly preferred
- Experience with steel fabrication, welding, or metal manufacturing preferred
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Strong understanding of dimensions, measurements, and tolerances
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to visualize how CAD designs translate into fabricated steel components
- Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a shop environment and communicating with production staff
