Summary

Operator / Technician Contract Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Reliability Lab Operator / Failure Analysis Technician to join our client's team in Fort Collins, Colorado on a long-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with advanced laboratory equipment, follows established procedures, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality documentation.

Responsibilities

Operate Failure Analysis (FA) equipment after completing the required training, including:
- Optical Microscope
- Acoustic Microscope
- X-Ray
- Curve Trace
- Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR)
- Additional FA tools and equipment as needed
Perform preventative maintenance on FA equipment and other laboratory systems following training.
Complete failure analysis tasks as assigned, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Document findings in comprehensive final reports and accurately enter data into the appropriate database.
Communicate effectively with team members through email and in-person discussions regarding project needs, progress, and results.
Follow established laboratory procedures while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to learn and operate technical laboratory equipment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Previous laboratory, electronics, semiconductor, or failure analysis experience is a plus but not required.

Position Details

Location: Fort Collins, CO (Onsite)
Employment Type: Long-Term Contract
Schedule: 40 hours per week

Shift : Wednesday through Sunday : 5PM to 1AM
