Role: Senior Python Backend Developer
Location: East Hartford, CT - Remote

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with 9+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining modern, data-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python development, API development, SQL programming, and cloud-based application development. This role focuses on building scalable backend services, integrating data platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions in an Agile environment.
Job Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python and modern backend frameworks.
· Develop and enhance Python APIs and microservices to support enterprise applications.
· Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL scripts for data processing and application integration.
· Build and consume RESTful APIs while implementing secure authentication mechanisms.
· Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with React-based applications.
· Develop and optimize data processing solutions using Databricks, PySpark, and SQL where applicable.
· Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
· Work with Azure cloud services and Azure Synapse to build and support cloud-native applications.
· Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability.
