Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Google Cloud Platform Network Administrator to support the configuration, deployment, maintenance, and administration of cloud and network infrastructure. The candidate should have a basic understanding of cloud networking, operating systems, virtualization, and infrastructure administration.
The role will involve working alongside senior infrastructure and cloud engineers to support Google Cloud Platform environments, perform routine maintenance, manage OS upgrades and patches, and assist with infrastructure deployment and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with configuring, deploying, and maintaining network infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform environments.
Support day-to-day administration of Google Cloud Platform resources.
Assist with Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) infrastructure management.
Perform routine OS patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Assist with network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Support infrastructure provisioning and automation using Terraform.
Assist in managing and troubleshooting Palo Alto firewall configurations.
Support virtual machine provisioning and administration in virtualization environments.
Monitor infrastructure performance and help resolve network and system-related issues.
Follow standard operating procedures and work with senior team members on infrastructure maintenance and deployment activities.
Required Skills
1–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or network administration.
Basic understanding of Google Cloud Platform and cloud infrastructure concepts.
Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and firewalls.
Basic knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server administration.
Understanding of virtualization concepts and virtual machine management.
Familiarity with OS patching, upgrades, and system maintenance.
Basic exposure to scripting or infrastructure automation is an advantage.
Good to Have
Exposure to Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE).
Basic knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls.
Exposure to VMware or other virtualization platforms.
Google Cloud Platform or networking-related certifications.
Candidate Profile
Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Willingness to learn cloud and network technologies.
Ability to work with senior infrastructure engineers and follow technical procedures.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
