We are currently seeking a Flight Vehicle Systems Engineer to contribute to our mission in a dynamic startup environment. As a Flight Vehicle Systems Engineer, you will support the complete systems engineering lifecycle for our MAPP platform across multiple contracted lunar missions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with subsystem leads to assess design against technical performance measures (TPMs) to ensure healthy design margins
- Manage technical budgets including mass, power, interface utilization, and others
- Lead development of select cross-cutting vehicle designs in collaboration with subsystem leads
- Develop and maintain internal and external interface control documents (ICDs)
- Participate in creation of analysis plans and test plans in accordance with verification and validation methodologies, and support documentation of test events and traceability back to requirements
- Perform system-level modeling and analysis to optimize design performance, reliability, and safety
- Assist with management of engineering documentation, including Master Equipment Lists, BOMs, Design Data Books, etc.
- Ensure design and process compliance with applicable standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in Systems Engineering
- Strong understanding of spacecraft subsystems, including flight hardware and flight software
- Demonstrated experience in requirements management, interface control, and verification planning
- Experience using requirements management tools like DOORS or Jama
- Self-motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Class A spaceflight missions, human space flight, or human-rated vehicle development
- Prior experience with ITAR/EAR compliance documentation and handling export-controlled technical data
- Previous experience in mission operations or integration and test campaign design and execution
