Job Summary We are seeking an Oracle DBA EBS to administer, maintain, and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle EBS system administration, database maintenance, patching, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, and cloud migration initiatives while ensuring the reliability, availability, and security of enterprise database systems. Key Responsibilities Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) modules. Maintain Oracle 12c and 19c databases supporting Oracle EBS R12 (12.2.12) across production, development, test, and UAT environments. Perform Oracle EBS maintenance activities, including patching (ADOP cycle and OPatch), cloning, upgrades, performance tuning, and optimization. Perform daily database health checks and monitor database performance. Optimize SQL queries and database performance. Manage database backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Oracle Data Guard. Perform database maintenance, patching, upgrades, and security updates. Support system deployments, troubleshoot database issues, and resolve production incidents. Provide after-hours support for scheduled maintenance, patching, and production support activities as required. Create and maintain technical documentation for database administration procedures and system configurations. Administer and maintain Oracle APEX applications. Manage Oracle Job Scheduler and database automation processes. Implement and maintain Oracle Advanced Security features, including Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), fine-grained auditing, and wallet authentication. Support database migrations and cloud modernization initiatives. Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation, backups, and routine database operations. Required Qualifications Experience administering Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). Strong experience supporting Oracle Database 12c and 19c environments. Experience administering Oracle EBS R12 (12.2.12). Strong experience performing Oracle EBS upgrades, patching, cloning, and maintenance using ADOP and OPatch. Experience implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions using RMAN and Oracle Data Guard. Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming skills. Experience with Oracle APEX administration. Experience with Oracle Job Scheduler. Experience writing shell scripts for automation, backups, and routine data processing. Experience administering Oracle databases on Windows and Linux operating systems. Strong knowledge of relational database management system (RDBMS) concepts and database administration best practices. Experience implementing Oracle Advanced Security features, including TDE encryption, fine-grained auditing, and wallet authentication. Experience supporting database migrations and cloud initiatives. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and effectively manage production support responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC). Experience supporting highly available enterprise Oracle database environments. Experience with enterprise cloud database migration initiatives. Education: Bachelors Degree
