We are seeking an experienced OneStream Financial Systems Analyst / Techno-Functional Consultant to support the implementation, testing, go-live, and production transition of the OneStream platform for a leading Energy client.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting OneStream Consolidation, Financial Close, Planning, Forecasting, and Financial Reporting, with strong knowledge of OneStream configuration, troubleshooting, data integration, testing, and production support.
This role will work closely with Finance, IT, and the Solution Integrator/Implementation Partner to ensure a successful OneStream implementation and transition to the internal support team. The consultant will also develop solution documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Support OneStream implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and go-live activities.
- Provide hands-on support for OneStream Consolidation, Financial Close, and Financial Reporting processes.
- Work with Finance and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into OneStream solutions.
- Support and troubleshoot OneStream workflows, metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, and account mappings.
- Troubleshoot consolidation and close issues, including:
- Intercompany eliminations
- Currency translation
- Journals
- Consolidation validation issues
- Data and reconciliation discrepancies
- Support data loads, transformation rules, integrations, and financial data reconciliation.
- Develop and troubleshoot Cube Views, financial statements, and Excel-based reporting.
- Support OneStream Business Rules troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing.
- Create test scenarios and test cases, track defects, and coordinate resolution with the implementation partner.
- Support production cutover, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Work with Finance, IT, and the Solution Integrator to investigate and resolve functional and technical issues.
- Support SAP S/4HANA financial data integration with OneStream.
- Develop and maintain solution documentation, process flows, runbooks, support procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Support SOX controls, financial controls, audit requirements, and compliance activities.
- Assist with change management, release management, and environment management.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and training for the internal IT/support team.
- Support the transition from the implementation partner to the organization's internal production support team.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Hands-on experience as a OneStream Financial Systems Analyst, OneStream Consultant, or OneStream Techno-Functional Consultant.
- Strong hands-on experience with OneStream Consolidation, Financial Close, and Financial Reporting.

- Strong experience with SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect management, and deployment.
- Experience supporting cutover, go-live, production stabilization, and handover.
- Strong documentation, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience working directly with Finance, IT, and implementation/SI partners.
- Experience supporting SOX controls, financial controls, and audit requirements.
Strongly Preferred
- SAP S/4HANA financial data integration with OneStream.
- Experience with SAP financial data such as General Ledger, Cost Center, Profit Center, and other financial master/transactional data.
- Strong OneStream Business Rules troubleshooting experience.
- Experience supporting financial systems in a SOX-controlled environment.
- Experience transitioning OneStream solutions from an implementation partner to an internal support organization.
- Experience working within the Energy / Utilities industry is a plus.
