Techno-Functional OneStream Consultant - Houston, TX
iSphere is looking for a Techno-Functional OneStream Consultant for a 12+ month onsite opportunity in Houston.
If you know OneStream well enough to understand both what Finance is trying to accomplish and what is happening behind the scenes technically, keep reading.
This client needs someone who can work across consolidation, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, integrations, workflows, business rules, and data management. You are not going to spend your day sitting between Finance and IT taking notes while everyone else figures it out. You need to understand both sides well enough to help design the solution and get it working.
You will be hands-on with OneStream administration, workflows, Cube Views, dashboards, Data Management, transformation rules, security, integrations, and Business Rules. You will also support close, planning, forecasting, reporting, testing, deployment, and the inevitable question of, “Why doesn’t this number match?”
What we need:
Hands-on OneStream experience
OneStream Platform Administration
Workflow configuration
Data Management and Data Quality
Cube Views and dashboards
OneStream Business Rules / VB.NET
Security configuration
Financial Consolidation
FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting
Actuals and management reporting
Intercompany accounting
Cash flow reporting
SQL
REST APIs and OData
SAP integration experience, especially SAP S/4HANA
Experience supporting SIT, UAT, deployment, and go-live
You should also be comfortable working with flat files, data warehouses, APIs, and the other places financial data tends to come from before everyone expects OneStream to magically make sense of it.
A big part of this role is troubleshooting. If a number is wrong, you need to be able to follow it through the report, cube, transformation, business rule, and source data until you find out where it actually went sideways.
Five or more years around EPM/CPM solutions and at least two years of real hands-on OneStream experience would be ideal. Energy, utilities, manufacturing, or another large enterprise environment would be a plus. OneStream certification is nice to have, but knowing the platform is more important than having a logo on your resume.
If you can talk Finance, talk technical, and actually work in OneStream instead of just talking about it, we should talk.
