Job Description

Seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to independently support accurate and timely weekly and biweekly payroll processing for U.S. multi-state employees. The role involves payroll validation, reconciliation, off-cycle payrolls, banking transactions, reporting, issue resolution, and audit support.

Key Responsibilities

Process weekly/biweekly on-cycle and off-cycle payrolls.
Validate payroll data, reconciliations, payments, and third-party files.
Handle direct deposit rejects, stop payments, reversals, and payroll banking issues.
Prepare and analyze payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
Respond to payroll inquiries and provide excellent employee support.
Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve payroll issues.
Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and accuracy.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.

Required Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, HR, or related field; or equivalent experience.
5+ years of multi-state payroll experience preferred; 2+ years may be considered.
Oracle HCM Cloud experience preferred.
Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data manipulation, and analysis.
Knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud, ServiceNow, and UKG Timekeeper preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and confidential information.

Preferred Certifications: PCP, FPC, or CPP.
