Summary

Role: SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months contract

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and existing SAP processes to prepare detailed Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for API testing initiatives.
Gather and document functional requirements, business validations, and test scenarios.
Work closely with SAP ABAP developers to analyze technical issues and support solution design.
Coordinate API testing activities between functional, automation, and ABAP development teams.
Troubleshoot SAP functional issues, perform impact analysis, and recommend resolution approaches.
Collaborate across SAP and non-SAP applications to ensure smooth system integrations and data flow.
Facilitate workshops and discussions with business users and technical teams to define business processes and solutions.
Participate in project planning, delivery reviews, status meetings, and stakeholder communications.
Support end-to-end testing, validation, and successful project delivery.
Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders.

Required Skills

8–10 years of SAP Functional Consulting experience.
Strong hands-on experience with:
- SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
- SAP MM (Materials Management)
- SAP FI (Financial Accounting)
Good understanding of SAP ABAP for troubleshooting and collaboration with developers.
Experience with API testing, functional testing, and integration testing.
Experience integrating SAP with non-SAP applications.
Strong documentation skills, including Functional Specification Documents (FSDs).
Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Mandatory Requirements

Strong functional expertise in SAP SD, MM, and FI modules.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.
Ability to work in a hybrid model in Austin, TX.

Preferred Skills

SAP S/4HANA implementation or support experience.
Experience with SAP Field Service Management (FSM) is a plus.
