Dynatrace Engineer Hybrid

We are staffing a Dynatrace Systems Engineer for a W2base, Hybrid Position located in Baltimore, Maryland. Candidates must eligible for Contract to hire job opportunities. Sponsorship is not available. Prefer candidates that live within a commutable distance to Baltimore, MD.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in infrastructure monitoring and a solid understanding of Dynatrace, application performance monitoring concepts, without requiring deep code-level development expertise.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have experience utilizing Dynatrace to monitor application performance and transaction flows.
• MUST HAVE Support synthetic monitoring and and real user monitoring (RUM) for end-user performance
• Must have experience collaborating with application teams to ensure proper monitoring coverage.
• Assist in troubleshooting performance issues at the application and system level.
• 5+ years of experience in Dynatrace, synthetic URL monitoring, installing agents, forwarders, APIs, performance monitoring tool alerts, dashboards and data trend analysis
• 3+ years experience leveraging Dynatrace SaaS, DQL, and Logs on Grail
  Experienced at developing Dynatrace dashboards for business processes, preferably leveraging Dynatrace Business Events
• Experienced in migrating from Dynatrace Managed to SaaS
  Experience with recommending baseline monitoring thresholds, recommending performance monitoring KPIs and SLAs
• Experience with gathering and organizing large amounts of data to use for instrumentation into an Enterprise monitoring solution
• Deep knowledge of relevant enterprise log analysis framework
• 5+ years systems engineering experience
• 5 years hands-on Dynatrace (must be deep configuration/admin experience, not just peripheral use SRE background alone without real Dynatrace admin work is not a fit)
• Azure cloud experience: mandatory
• Prometheus experience: nice to have
• Linux: preferred
