Position Summary

We are seeking an Architect-level Senior Splunk / Observability Platform Engineer with proven experience designing and building enterprise observability platforms. This is not a Splunk Admin, SOC, Security Analyst, SIEM, or Data Analyst role. Candidates must have hands-on architecture and implementation experience, not just platform support.

Required Skills

Splunk Enterprise Architecture
OpenTelemetry (OTel)
Splunk Observability Cloud (SignalFx) or Dynatrace/AppDynamics
Splunk Dashboard Studio
Enterprise telemetry and data ingestion pipelines
Windows, Linux, and AIX environments
High Availability, scalability, and platform performance optimization

Responsibilities

Architect and build enterprise observability platforms.
Design telemetry, logging, metrics, and tracing solutions.
Develop scalable Splunk Enterprise architectures.
Build telemetry/data ingestion pipelines.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, and Application teams to implement enterprise monitoring solutions.

Interview Expectations

Candidates should be able to discuss:

Splunk architecture they personally designed.
OpenTelemetry implementation.
Telemetry pipeline design.
Architecture decisions, scalability, and implementation challenges.
