Required Skills Education - Bachelor''s degree in a technical, business, healthcare, or related field. Years of experience may substitute for formal education.
Experience - 2+ years of experience translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios.
- 2+ years of knowledge of manual testing techniques (functional, regression, smoke, usability, boundary testing).
- 3+ years of deep knowledge of healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid) and business processes.
Preferred Skills Certifications - Technical and/or Project Management certifications from recognized sources are desirable.
Experience - 2+ years of experience with large enterprise or e-business systems.
- 3+ years of experience using QA tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar.
- 3+ years of experience working in a standard SDLC (Waterfall methodology) and Agile delivery environments.

Scope of the Project The
Quality Assurance Tester - Advanced will be assigned to projects for the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (CLIENT) in collaboration with the CLIENT Project Management Office (PMO).
The PMO is responsible for staffing CLIENT projects and establishing and monitoring IT governance and standards followed by all enterprise project teams supporting the Medicaid Agency for South Carolina.

Position Quality Assurance Analyst – Advanced

Daily Duties / Responsibilities - Perform testing on technical solutions to isolate and resolve issues.
- Initiate tests, analyze results, and identify solutions to technical problems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in CLIENT testing processes and SDLC tools.
- Translate functional and technical requirements and technical designs into test cases.
- Develop and execute functional and technical test cases under the direction of Test Leads and Senior Testers.
- Create and maintain SDLC traceability from test cases to requirements and software designs/components.
- Assist in generating Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTMs).
- Participate in defect triage, retesting, and resolution activities.
- Create quality assurance documentation and reports as required.
