Responsibilities
- Represent the testing discipline on an Agile Development Team, working with Developers and Business Analysts to ensure quality delivery.
- Execute and validate manual and automated test cases based on user stories or requirements.
- Identify and document defects during test execution.
- Collaborate with team members to create, review, and improve testing processes and automation strategies.
- Assist in creating automated tests and determine appropriate automation tools and frameworks.
- Apply knowledge of P&C Insurance Policy Administration Systems, particularly Commercial Lines.
- Participate in discussions describing your role on recent projects, your automation practices, and proficiency with SQL queries, API testing, and scripting languages.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Information Technology.
- At least 1 year of experience working on an Agile Team.
- Experience creating automated tests.
- Proficiency in SQL queries, API testing, and scripting languages.
- Knowledge of P&C Insurance Policy Administration Systems, specifically Commercial Lines, is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills and initiative in automation implementation.
- Ability to work independently and challenge the status quo.
- Must not require sponsorship now or in the future.
