Business Systems Analyst (Cloud, DevOps, Data)
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid – several days onsite weekly; local TX strongly preferred)

This is not a junior requirements‑taker role. Client wants a mid‑level to senior‑leaning BSA who can operate between business and technical teams.
Target Profile:
- Strong Business Systems Analyst with technical awareness
- Experience in cloud‑native apps, DevOps, microservices, SQL/reporting, low‑code platforms
- Comfortable with UAT leadership, release coordination, workflows, acceptance criteria
- Able to support ERP/CRM, business applications, and hybrid/cloud systems
- Must be able to interview onsite for final round and work onsite weekly
Role Summary
Work with product owners, business users, architects, and DevOps teams to gather requirements, design workflows, support development, lead UAT, coordinate releases, and ensure successful adoption of system changes across cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather/document requirements via interviews, workshops, workflow analysis
- Translate business needs into functional specs, system requirements, and process flows
- Analyze existing systems to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Lead UAT, define acceptance criteria, and support QA
- Support releases with DevOps, cloud, and infrastructure teams
- Build/maintain reports, dashboards, SQL queries, and data integration needs
- Work with microservices, containerized apps (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud‑native systems
- Coordinate product launches and post‑deployment support
- Ensure compliance with SOX, PCI‑DSS, ISO, GDPR, HIPAA
- Support audits, risk assessments, and DR planning
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on application security
- Work across ERP/CRM systems and low‑code platforms
- Use tools like Git, Jenkins, ADO, Jira, Visio/Lucidchart
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field
- 3+ years as a BSA or similar role
- Experience with:
- SQL, reporting, dashboards
- Low‑code platforms (preferred)
- Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes
- Cloud‑native applications
- Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of business processes, ERP/CRM systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum
- Certifications: CSPO, PSPO, SAFe (preferred)
