We are looking for Business Systems Analyst - Hybrid for our client in Plano, TX.

Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

Job Location: Plano, TX

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $55.00hr - $60.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience in business analysis, quality assurance, or product analysis roles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with requirements gathering, documentation, and process modeling.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
  • Understanding of product lifecycle management and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Core knowledge in the lending lifecycle, system configurations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end steps from lead generation, application intake, and credit analysis to underwriting, closing, and funding.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for development teams.
  • Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in solution design and validate that deliverables meet business objectives.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality and functionality.
  • Identify, document, and track defects; work with developers to resolve issues.
  • Participate in regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
  • Analyze market trends, user feedback, and product performance metrics to inform product decisions.
  • Support product managers in defining product features, roadmaps, and priorities.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product requirements are well understood and implemented.
  • Assist in preparing product documentation, training materials, and release notes.
  • Bridge the gap between financial stakeholders and software developers to optimize workflows like application intake, underwriting, and closing.

Nice to Have:

  • Agile Product Owner.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableu).
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles and customer journey mapping.
