This is a hybrid onsite position in Dallas, TX. Candidates currently residing within approximately one hour of the Dallas office are strongly preferred.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst with 6+ years of IT experience and strong experience in Data Management-related projects. Experience in the Energy domain is a plus. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
Schedule business requirements sessions, document meeting minutes, and track follow-ups.
Prepare and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
Assist with Technical Design and Data Lineage documentation.
Ensure technical designs align with business requirements.
Track project progress and ensure business requirements are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate planned releases and send release announcements.
Create, track, and follow up on JIRA tickets.
Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate requirements-gathering meetings.
Track action items from meetings, daily scrums, and project discussions.
Monitor JIRA task status and coordinate project activities.
Work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced Agile environment while managing multiple priorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

6+ years of overall IT experience.
4+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
4+ years of experience working on Agile projects.
4+ years of SQL experience, including Oracle and SQL Server.
Experience with MongoDB is a plus.
4+ years of experience in Data Analysis and troubleshooting.
4+ years of experience preparing Business Requirements, Technical Design, and Data Lineage documents.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
Strong stakeholder management and meeting facilitation skills.
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Ability to coordinate project deliverables, track action items, and manage deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the Energy or Utilities domain.
Strong experience in Data Management-related projects.
Experience with JIRA and Agile project management methodologies.
