Work Location Requirement:
This is a hybrid onsite position in Dallas, TX. Candidates currently residing within approximately one hour of the Dallas office are strongly preferred.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst with 6+ years of IT experience and strong experience in Data Management-related projects. Experience in the Energy domain is a plus. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
• Schedule business requirements sessions, document meeting minutes, and track follow-ups.
• Prepare and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
• Assist with Technical Design and Data Lineage documentation.
• Ensure technical designs align with business requirements.
• Track project progress and ensure business requirements are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate planned releases and send release announcements.
• Create, track, and follow up on JIRA tickets.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate requirements-gathering meetings.
• Track action items from meetings, daily scrums, and project discussions.
• Monitor JIRA task status and coordinate project activities.
• Work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced Agile environment while managing multiple priorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 6+ years of overall IT experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
• 4+ years of experience working on Agile projects.
• 4+ years of SQL experience, including Oracle and SQL Server.
• Experience with MongoDB is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in Data Analysis and troubleshooting.
• 4+ years of experience preparing Business Requirements, Technical Design, and Data Lineage documents.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and meeting facilitation skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to coordinate project deliverables, track action items, and manage deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the Energy or Utilities domain.
• Strong experience in Data Management-related projects.
• Experience with JIRA and Agile project management methodologies.
