The role of a senior electrical engineer is dedicated to shaping meaningful partnerships with clients, engaging at the earliest planning stages to understand their goals and guide the development of innovative, integrated electrical engineering solutions. You will lead multidisciplinary project teams from concept through construction, ensuring that complex electrical engineering efforts are coordinated, forward thinking, and executed with excellence. Beyond project delivery, you play a key role in advancing the firm’s growth by contributing to business development initiatives and representing the organization as a trusted advisor in the built environment.
YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS + IMPACT
Key Actions
· Guide multidisciplinary teams in exploring solutions and developing technically sound design solutions that support project goals.
· Oversee the creation and coordination of construction documents from schematic design through construction administration to ensure accuracy and quality.
· Contribute to the evolution of departmental standards and quality practices to elevate firmwide team and client outcomes.
· Build a collaborative project team culture by modeling accountability, supporting open communication and foster an environment where project team members own their work and contributions.
· Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Client Engagement
· Build and sustain strong relationships with existing clients while cultivating new partnerships that support long-term growth.
· Participate in business development activities, including networking, and involvement in professional organization, to expand the firm’s visibility and influence.
· Collaborate closely with clients throughout planning and design to ensure solutions align with their needs, goals, and expectations.
· Proactively identify opportunities to add value to clients through providing strategic insights and solutions to strengthen long-term partnerships and position the firm as a trusted advisor.
Project Coordination
· Serve as a discipline leader on projects, guiding coordination efforts with internal teams, clients, consultants, and construction partners to meet schedule, budget, and quality milestones.
· Facilitate smooth project delivery by organizing information, tracking progress, and maintaining clear communication across disciplines to strengthen collaboration and trust.
· Facilitate thoughtful reviews and feedback on design documents to strengthen technical quality, JavaScript: void(0); support team development, and encourage open, positive, and constructive communication.
· Mentor team members by sharing expertise, lessons learned, and best practices to support their professional growth.

Professional Foundations
· A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
· Professional licensure, certification or accreditation required.
· Achievement of or pursuing LEED Accreditation or other industry relevant certifications and accreditations.
· 10+ years of professional experience in the A/E or MEP Industry.
· Knowledge and experience in REVIT software.
· Extensive knowledge of standards and codes.
· Participation in professional industry organizations.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Project, and Teams.
· Knowledge of Google Workspace, including Slides, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Calendar, Gmail, etc.
