Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Google Looker Lead with strong expertise in Looker, LookML, and Google Cloud BigQuery to develop interactive dashboards, scalable data models, and business intelligence solutions.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing LookML models, developing advanced visualizations, optimizing SQL queries, and integrating BI platforms with cloud data sources. Experience with Tableau and Google Cloud Platform data services is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Google Looker and Tableau.
- Build and manage LookML models, views, explores, dimensions, and measures.
- Design and optimize Tableau dashboards, calculated fields, filters, parameters, and data sources.
- Develop complex SQL queries and optimize data models for analytical workloads.
- Integrate BI solutions with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), BigQuery, and enterprise data sources.
- Translate business requirements into meaningful dashboards, KPIs, and actionable insights.
- Ensure dashboard performance, data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Implement appropriate data access controls, security policies, and governance standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and data engineering teams.
- Troubleshoot reporting discrepancies and resolve dashboard performance issues.
- Establish BI development standards and promote best practices in data visualization.
- Maintain technical documentation for dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions.

Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data visualization.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Looker and LookML.
- Experience working with Google BigQuery and cloud-based analytical data sources.
- Ability to develop and maintain scalable data models and interactive dashboards.
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis.
- Experience translating business needs into reporting and analytics solutions.
- Understanding of data governance, dashboard security, and performance optimization.
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
