Role: Payment Systems Business Analyst / Product Owner

Top Responsibilities

Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
Own and prioritize the product backlog.
Write epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Work closely with development and QA teams throughout Agile sprints.
Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production releases.
Ensure payment solutions meet business, compliance, and operational requirements.
Drive continuous improvements to payment products and processes.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on payment system enhancements.

Ideal Candidate

8 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner.
Strong experience in payment processing or financial services.
Hands-on Agile/Scrum experience.
Experience managing product backlogs using Jira and Confluence.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with payment APIs and integrations is highly desirable.
Local to or willing to commute to Lincolnshire, IL.
Eligible for future full-time employment without sponsorship.
