Role Overview
Capgemini is seeking a strong Data Analyst to support a large-scale Financial Services initiative. This role will focus on enterprise data solutions, ETL/ELT development, data analysis, data quality, and data warehouse support within an AWS cloud environment.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora PostgreSQL, ETL/ELT development, data modeling, Oracle, and enterprise data warehouse environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions
- Write complex SQL queries, transformations, and stored procedures
- Perform data analysis, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance
- Design and maintain logical and physical data models
- Support enterprise data warehouse and analytics environments
- Work with PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases
- Troubleshoot data quality, performance, and integration issues
- Create technical documentation including data mappings and transformation specifications
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into data solutions
- Support testing, production deployments, and ongoing operational support
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Engineering, Data Integration, or related fields
- Strong SQL development and query optimization experience
- Hands-on ETL/ELT development experience
- Experience building and supporting enterprise data pipelines
- Strong data modeling and data management background
- Strong PostgreSQL expertise
- Experience with AWS Aurora PostgreSQL
- Experience working in AWS cloud environments
- Experience with Oracle databases
- Experience supporting enterprise data warehouse solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial Services industry experience
- Experience supporting BI and reporting initiatives
- Data governance and data quality experience
- Experience with cloud-based analytics and data warehouse platforms
