Job Summary
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Data Architect to lead the strategy, design, modernization, governance, and optimization of enterprise data platforms within a healthcare payer and provider environment.
This role will focus heavily on Data Architecture, cloud data platform modernization, healthcare data interoperability, analytics enablement, AI-ready data foundations, and vendor data integration. The Data Architect will partner closely with business leaders, enterprise architecture, application teams, analytics teams, data engineering, vendors, security, compliance, and operational stakeholders to ensure scalable, secure, compliant, and future-ready data solutions aligned with organizational strategy.
The ideal candidate combines deep healthcare domain expertise with strong data architecture capabilities across AWS, Snowflake, Salesforce, healthcare interoperability standards, data governance, APIs, data integration, analytics platforms, and modern cloud-native data ecosystems.
Experience
· 8+ years of experience in data architecture, enterprise data platforms, data engineering, solution architecture, or technology leadership roles.
· 3+ years of experience in healthcare payer and/or provider environments.
· Deep expertise with:
· AWS cloud data services
o Snowflake/ Databricks
o Enterprise data integration
o Data warehousing
o Data lakes and lake house architectures
o SaaS data architecture
· Data modeling and enterprise data standards:
· Data Vault Modelling Experience
· Some understanding of healthcare business domains such as:
- Claims
- Care management
- Clinical operations
- Provider management
- Member engagement
- Population health
- Quality measures
- Utilization management
- Value-based care
· Strong knowledge of healthcare data interoperability standards including:
o HL7
o FHIR
o X12/EDI

Snowflake SnowPro Certification desirable. (Desirable)
