JDE Technical Consultant needed in NYC NY
6-12 Months
3 days a week on-site (client may consider 2 days)
Primary focus: End-to-end techno-functional ownership
The consultant must understand both JDE technical development and business processes, especially Sales and Distribution.
Key responsibilities:
Gather and analyze business requirements.
Map current “As-Is” processes to future “To-Be” processes.
Configure JDE Sales and Distribution modules.
Design technical solutions and write technical specifications.
Develop UBEs, BSFNs, NERs, applications, forms, reports, workflows, and orchestrations.
Build integrations using Orchestrator, AIS, REST APIs, BSSV, RTE, and third-party connectors.
Perform data conversions, SQL/Excel loads, and Z-table processing.
Manage security, roles, SOD, row security, and UDO security.
Debug BSFNs and troubleshoot production issues.
Support implementations, upgrades, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
Work independently from requirements through production stabilization.
Ideal candidate:
A hands-on JDE expert who can communicate with business users, design solutions, develop code, lead technical delivery, and support the full project lifecycle. This is not a people-management position.
