Job Title: Senior Golang Engineer
Location: O’Fallon, MO (Hybrid)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
We are seeking a Senior Golang Engineer with strong backend development experience in GoLang, Python, and AWS to build scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing microservices from scratch, building proofs of concept (POCs) and prototypes, and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
The project involves building a cloud-native payment orchestration platform that enables cardholders to seamlessly access Mastercard digital services directly through their banking applications using a single, streamlined integration.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using GoLang and Python.
Build microservices from scratch using cloud-native architecture and best practices.
Develop POCs and prototypes to validate technical solutions and new capabilities.
Build and deploy applications using AWS ECS, Fargate, and other AWS services.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance applications.
Contribute to cloud-native application development and payment platform integration.
4–7 years of experience in backend software development.
Strong hands-on experience with GoLang (Golang) and Python.
Experience developing Python APIs using FastAPI.
Strong experience building microservices from scratch.
Hands-on experience with AWS ECS and Fargate.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
Knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
Experience with AI AgentCore Runtime.
Frontend development experience using Angular and/or React.
Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
Familiarity with payment platforms, payment orchestration, or digital banking integrations.
Work Location: Hybrid – O’Fallon, MO
Contract Duration: 6+ Months
