An innovative startup focused on building an AI-enabled autonomous banking platform for some of the world's largest financial institutions is hiring a remote Senior, Senior/Lead, Principal Forward Deployed Engineer! We are looking for someone with experience building and deploying end to end distributed systems with Golang, Python or Java, as well as AI tools, such as RAG, Langchain LLM, etc.
This Forward Deployed Engineer position sits at the intersection of software engineering, solution architecture, and customer engagement. You'll embed with major banking clients, transform high-level business objectives into technical solutions, design scalable systems, and build production-grade software that becomes part of a bank's core platform. They're looking for true customer facing engineers who have built and shipped software end-to-end, thrive in ambiguity, and enjoy working directly with senior business and technical stakeholders. This is a highly visible role where you'll alternate between coding, architecture, workshops, and strategic consulting.
Required Skills & Experience - Software engineering
- Solution architecture

- Experience building and deploying end to end distributed systems with Golang (they will use this), Python or Java
- Experience with AI tools (RAG, Langchain LLM, etc.)
- Must have worked in customer-facing positions before

The Offer - 180k-250k
- Principal is 250k base + bonus and RSUs.
- Other levels do not get performance bonus or RSUs. They can get sign ons.
