Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer (Tableau Experience Mandatory)

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Job Description:

Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Minimum 5+ Years of Recent Experience in Tableau is Mandatory.
Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards in Tableau and Power BI for operational and executive audiences.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, aggregation, joins across large datasets, and performance tuning.
Connect and integrate multiple data sources (databases, APIs, flat files, enterprise platforms) into unified reporting datasets.
Build and maintain scripted data normalization and transformation pipelines (e.g., Python) to standardize, cleanse, and reconcile data from disparate systems.
Aggregate data across domains to produce consistent, reliable metrics and KPIs.
Apply data visualization best practices to make complex data intuitive right chart for the right story, clean layouts, drill-down paths.
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable reporting products.
Automate recurring manual reporting processes to improve speed, consistency, and scalability.
Validate data quality and investigate discrepancies across source systems; document data lineage and reporting logic.
Strong SQL skills complex joins, aggregations, window functions, query optimization.
Proven hands-on experience building dashboards in Tableau and Power BI.
Experience aggregating data and connecting multiple data sources into consolidated reporting datasets.
Experience with script-based data normalization and transformation (Python or similar).
Solid understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design best practices.
Ability to work with stakeholders to translate business questions into reporting requirements.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
