Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate AI pilots, establish success criteria, and track outcomes.
Maintain and mature the Client's AI governance framework in partnership with cybersecurity and other stakeholders.
Maintain a Countywide inventory of AI tools, vendors, pilots, and use cases.
Manage access, licensing, token consumption, and costs for enterprise AI platforms.
Coordinate AI vendors, deliverables, demonstrations, and issue resolution.
Lead AI Communities of Practice and departmental AI champions.
Coordinate onboarding, training, guidance, and support for AI users.
Help departments identify high-value AI opportunities and share successful practices.
Track adoption, costs, business value, and measurable efficiency gains.
Develop executive dashboards and provide updates to Client leadership.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years managing technology initiatives or enterprise software projects.
Experience with generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude.
Understanding of AI governance, privacy, cybersecurity, and responsible AI.
Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Public-sector experience preferred.
Preferred Skills:
AI governance; licensing and vendor management; change management; training and facilitation; Agile/PMP. Six-Month Success Measures Structured AI pilots; enterprise AI inventory; standardized governance; token and licensing strategy; active Communities of Practice; executive reporting on AI impact; and documented efficiency gains and cost savings.
