IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.
Our client is looking for an AI Specialist to coordinate AI pilots, strengthen governance, and support responsible AI adoption across departments. This combines strategic oversight with hands-on program support.

Tasks:>
· Coordinate AI pilots, establish success criteria, and track outcomes.
· Maintain and mature the client''s AI governance framework in partnership with cybersecurity and other stakeholders.
· Maintain client’s inventory of AI tools, vendors, pilots, and use cases.
· Manage access, licensing, token consumption, and costs for enterprise AI platforms.
· Coordinate AI vendors, deliverables, demonstrations, and issue resolution.
· Lead AI Communities of Practice and departmental AI champions.
· Coordinate onboarding, training, guidance, and support for AI users.
· Help departments identify high-value AI opportunities and share successful practices.
· Track adoption, costs, business value, and measurable efficiency gains.
· Develop executive dashboards and provide updates to client’s leadership.
Environment: Microsoft CoPilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Office 365
Location: Pontiac, MI (Position is Hybrid. Local candidates are preferred.)
Contract: 6+ months
Skills Required:
· 5+ years Managing technology initiatives or enterprise software projects
· Experience with generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude.
· Understanding of AI governance, privacy, cybersecurity, and responsible AI
· Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
