This request is for a Technical Specialist who will serve as a mainframe expert.
Required Skills
The ideal candidate should have mainframe skills including:
- CICS
- DB2
- Elixir
- Endevor
- IMS
- JCL
Additional skills in middleware and MQ are beneficial.
Key Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality
- The ability to provide configuration management/release management support and guidance for Endevor software
- Thorough knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques
- Thorough knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2
- The ability to evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performance and cost savings
- The ability to provide CICS administration, problem-solving and debugging support interfacing with application developers as well as DIT personnel
Skills/Requirements
