Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2/IMS.
• Work with DB2 / IMS databases for data access, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Develop ZOS APIs and batch programs.
• Utilize mainframe utilities effectively.
• Analyze legacy code and implement enhancements or fixes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams.
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in modernization projects, including re-engineering or re-platforming mainframe workloads.
• Follow Agile methodologies and DevOps practices for mainframe (e.g., Git, Jenkins for z/OS).
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS) is a plus for modernization initiatives.
