Required Skills & Experience
Core Experience
3+ years of experience in Release Management, Project Coordination, IT Project Delivery, or a related field.
Experience coordinating complex projects, releases, or system implementations involving multiple stakeholders and teams.
Knowledge of release management concepts, project lifecycle methodologies, and dependency management practices.
Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery frameworks.
Familiarity with ITIL and/or CMMI frameworks.
Tools & Systems
ServiceNow: Hands-on experience with Change Management and reporting.
Experience using project and release management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or equivalent platforms.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
Experience tracking schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and readiness activities through reporting and dashboard tools.
Planning & Coordination Skills
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, releases, and competing priorities.
Strong organizational and scheduling skills with attention to detail.
Experience coordinating testing, deployment, and implementation activities across multiple teams.
Communication & Soft Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Ability to facilitate meetings, coordinate action items, and drive follow-through across teams.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration across cross- functional teams.
Strong documentation, training, and process improvement skills.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and audit-focused.
Ability to work independently in a contractor role while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting enterprise-level release management or large-scale IT
implementation initiatives.
Knowledge of change management and deployment processes.
Experience working in highly regulated, operationally critical, or utility-industry
environments.
