Position Summary
Client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Lead to provide technical leadership for the AI Cybersecurity Program. This role will lead the evaluation, selection, implementation, and operationalization of AI security capabilities designed to protect client from emerging AI-enabled threats while enabling the secure adoption of AI technologies across the enterprise.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary technical authority for the program, working closely with Cybersecurity, Architecture, Infrastructure, Cloud, Development, Data, and Operations teams. This is a technical leadership role and is not a project management position.
Key Responsibilities
Program Technical Leadership
- Provide technical leadership across all AI Cybersecurity Program workstreams.
- Define and validate technical requirements, use cases, architecture principles, and solution designs.
- Evaluate and recommend AI security technologies, products, and vendors.
- Ensure solutions align with client''s security standards, architecture principles, and operational requirements.
Solution Selection & Implementation
- Lead technical assessments, proof-of-concepts, vendor demonstrations, and technology evaluations.
- Support selection and deployment of capabilities including:
- AI Detection & Response
- AI activity monitoring and governance
- Vulnerability management automation (incl. Automated patching)
- AI threat detection and response
- AI evasion in videoconferencing technologies
- Secure browser technologies
- Password management solutions
Architecture & Integration
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Digital teams to ensure business and technical requirements are met.
- Guide technical integrations and configuration of selected tools and existing security tools
Transition to Operations
- Coordinate Transition to Operations (TTO) activities across support teams.
- Ensure operational processes, documentation, monitoring, and support requirements are established before production deployment.
- Work with communications teams to ensure technical details in end user notification and training materials are understood.
- Work closely with managed service providers and operational teams to ensure successful adoption.
Governance & Oversight
- Provide ongoing governance and oversight of deployed solutions.
- Monitor solution effectiveness and operational outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement and optimization activities throughout the contract term.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of cybersecurity experience.
- 5+ years in a technical lead, security architect, or cybersecurity engineering leadership role.
- Experience with enterprise security tool selection and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of common security tools with experience in Microsoft, Crowdstrike preferred.
- Experience working with large-scale cybersecurity transformation programs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
