Job Description — Software Integration Engineer

Location: Remote

Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integrations between applications, systems, APIs, and third-party platforms. The role will work closely with development, product, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and seamless data and system integration.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop integrations between internal and external applications and systems.
Develop and maintain REST APIs, web services, and integration solutions.
Integrate third-party applications, platforms, and services.
Analyze integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop data mapping, transformation, and validation processes.
Troubleshoot integration issues and resolve production defects.
Work with development and QA teams on integration testing and deployment.
Monitor integrations and ensure reliability, performance, and availability.
Maintain technical documentation for APIs, interfaces, and integration workflows.
Follow software development, security, and coding best practices.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile development activities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong programming experience in Java, Python, C#, or similar languages.
Good knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, HTTP, and web services.
Experience with API integration and third-party system integration.
Understanding of databases and SQL.
Experience with Git and standard software development practices.
Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
