Senior Workato/Workday Integration Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a Workato & Data Integration Engineer to lead process automation and integration architecture between Workday HCM and enterprise cloud platforms (such as Dell Boomi, Microsoft Fabric, and custom APIs).
In this role, you will design, build, and optimize Workato "recipes" and custom API connections while leveraging custom .NET development to ensure seamless, high-availability data flow across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
· Workflow Automation: Design, build, and maintain robust Workato recipes to automate core business processes between Workday HCM and external enterprise systems.
· Custom API Development: Build custom connectors, REST/SOAP APIs, and webhooks; utilize .NET coding for custom data transformations and logic when required.
· System Integration: Integrate Workday with enterprise platforms (including Dell Boomi and data platforms like Microsoft Fabric).
· Data Transformation: Optimize complex data mapping, schema transformations, and JSON/XML payloads to ensure data integrity across environments.
· Monitoring & Maintenance: Troubleshoot active integrations, handle error handling/logging, and ensure optimal uptime and performance.
Required Qualifications:
· Workato Expertise: Hands-on experience designing and deploying production-grade Workato recipes.
· Workday HCM Knowledge: Strong understanding of Workday integration points, data structures, and APIs.
· Development Skills: Hands-on programming capability in .NET (C#) for custom integration logic.
· API & Protocols: Solid background with REST/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, JSON, XML, and middleware tools (e.g., Dell Boomi).
