Job DescriptionWe are building out the Wholesale Credit Risk Core Platform which will be the software platform for all of Wholesale Credit Risk Technology, providing standardized best-in-class deployment strategies, common services and components, controls, testing practices, alerting, and monitoring.
As a Lead Software Engineer - Cloud Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Wholesale Credit Risk Core Architecture/Engineering team, you will architect, design, and implement scalable hybrid cloud solutions for transactional, analytics and cloud workloads.
Job Responsibilities:- Architect, design, and implement scalable hybrid cloud solutions for transactional, analytics and Cloud workloads.
- Design and review high-quality code, ensuring adherence to best practices and cloud standards.
- Collaborate with development leads and cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to drive technical excellence.
- Present technical concepts and project updates to senior stakeholders.
- Prioritize tasks effectively, balancing urgent needs with strategic progress.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative and helpful environment.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:- Proven experience in hybrid cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or private cloud).
- Strong cloud design and coding skills in languages such as Java, Python, React or similar.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, data pipelines, and analytics platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience building and using AI agents and Skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with development leads and senior stakeholders.
- Extensive hands-on experience in Java architecture, design, development, testing, deployment and SDLC.
- Advanced competency in AWS, Java , Micro Services, Spring Boot , Kubernetes , Cloud Computing , Oracle , Kafka, AWS, Databricks, Data Mesh, Graph QL
