RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Procurement Operations & Sourcing Senior Analyst in Jersey City, NJ.
Responsibilities:
* Manage sourcing and procurement activities across assigned categories, including competitive bids, supplier research, and market analysis
* Develop negotiation strategies that support business goals, cost savings, and strong supplier relationships
* Identify and pursue opportunities to reduce costs and improve overall purchasing value
* Partner with Legal, Finance, Risk, Purchasing, business leaders, and other stakeholders throughout the contracting and procurement lifecycle
* Manage purchase orders, statements of work, and related procurement documentation
* Support vendor management, contract activities, spend analysis, and third-party management processes
* Track sourcing initiatives, risks, timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
* Research supplier markets, industry developments, and emerging procurement technologies to identify improvement opportunities
* Support business transformation and operational improvement initiatives
* Develop strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to support organizational goals
* Recommend process improvements that strengthen procurement efficiency and supplier management
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
* 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, supply chain, or a related function
* Experience managing competitive sourcing, supplier evaluations, and negotiation activities
* Experience supporting statements of work, purchase orders, and supplier agreements
* Knowledge of procurement, contracting, third-party management, and spend management processes
* Familiarity with enterprise procurement or vendor management systems
* Strong analytical, negotiation, research, and problem-solving skills
* Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
* Demonstrated ability to identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities
* Ability to work cross-functionally and independently drive sourcing initiatives through completion
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
