Tech Lead - Physical Security Systems
A growing organization is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead the engineering, integration, modernization, and ongoing support of enterprise physical security technology. This role will work across security applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, databases, networks, and enterprise systems while partnering with technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Lead the implementation, integration, upgrades, and lifecycle management of physical security technologies.
* Support access control, video management, intrusion detection, visitor management, and related security systems.
* Design and support APIs, integrations, automated workflows, and connections to enterprise systems.
* Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, databases, operating systems, middleware, and networks.
* Lead root-cause analysis and drive long-term corrective solutions.
* Review technical designs, system configurations, architectures, and implementation plans.
* Lead modernization, cloud adoption, automation, and technology migration initiatives.
* Coordinate global deployments, vendors, technology partners, and internal teams.
* Support incident, problem, change, release, and configuration management.
* Develop technical documentation, engineering standards, and operational procedures.
* Communicate technical issues, risks, options, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications
* 8+ years of related technical experience.
* Experience supporting enterprise applications and highly available technology environments.
* Strong background in systems integration, automation, software development, or scripting.
* Experience troubleshooting across applications, operating systems, databases, middleware, and networks.
* Knowledge of APIs, authentication, cybersecurity controls, and enterprise architecture.
* Strong project ownership, prioritization, and execution skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
Preferred Experience
* Physical security systems experience.
* Genetec, C CURE, video management, access control, or visitor management systems.
* Cloud technologies and cloud adoption.
* AI or automation initiatives.
* Identity, HR, ITSM, asset management, or monitoring integrations.
* SDLC, security compliance, incident management, and change management.
* Global deployments and enterprise technology modernization.
