Job Title: AWS Production Support Specialist (Only W2)

Responsibilities
- Provide customer-facing operational support for enterprise applications and data workflows within a large-scale financial services environment.
- Focus on application setup and configuration, data troubleshooting, incident resolution, and ongoing production support across AWS hosted environments.
- Investigate application and data issues, troubleshoot Python and Java-based services, and work with users and technical teams to drive issues through resolution.
- Support release and CI/CD processes, monitor application health, and maintain operational documentation and runbooks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in application, production, or operational support within enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting applications hosted in AWS, including services such as S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, and ECS.
- Strong SQL and relational database skills, including data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Experience resolving data-related issues involving missing or incorrect data, refresh failures, access issues, and data inconsistencies.
- Troubleshooting Python and Java applications, including reviewing logs, errors, configuration files, and API responses.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs and application integrations.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, GitLab, Terraform, release management, and AWS native deployment pipelines from an operational support perspective.
- Understanding of data movement, data refreshes, environment readiness, secure data handling, and controlled use of non-production data.
- Experience with incident management and root cause analysis, with strong ownership of issues from initial intake through resolution.
- Strong customer-facing communication and troubleshooting skills.
Desired Skillset:
- Experience with data masking, anonymization or synthetic data.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- ServiceNow, Jira, or ITIL processes.
- Creating runbooks, FAQs, troubleshooting guides, or other support documentation.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
