Our client, a leading aerospace engineering and aircraft completions organization, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting Aircraft Completions, Modifications, and VIP/VVIP Interior Projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:$50-56/hr
What?s the Job?
\t- Develop mechanical designs, engineering drawings, installation packages, and technical documentation for aircraft interior and structural modification projects. \t
- Design and analyze aircraft interior components including seating installations, monuments, cabinetry, galleys, lavatories, partitions, and structural assemblies. \t
- Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support structural integrity, material selection, and system integration requirements. \t
- Coordinate with certification, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and production objectives. \t
- Support troubleshooting, design reviews, aircraft surveys, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
What?s Needed? \t- Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. \t
- 7+ years of engineering experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or a related industry. \t
- Proficiency with CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Siemens NX, or similar design platforms. \t
- Experience creating engineering drawings, technical documentation, and design packages. \t
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and project coordination.
What?s Preferred? \t- Experience with aircraft completions, modifications, MRO, or aerospace manufacturing environments. \t
- Familiarity with VIP/VVIP aircraft platforms such as Gulfstream, Boeing BBJ, or Airbus ACJ. \t
- Knowledge of FAA, EASA, and aviation certification requirements. \t
- Experience with aircraft interiors, cabin systems, monuments, or structural modifications. \t
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, EIT certification, or experience with PLM systems is a plus.
