A well-established and highly respected Las Vegas-based CPA firm is seeking an experienced Tax professional to join its leadership team as an Equity Partner.
The firm has been serving businesses, individuals, trusts and nonprofit organizations for more than three decades and provides a broad range of services including taxation, tax planning, audit, accounting, bookkeeping and consulting.
The firm has developed particular expertise working with closely held businesses, real estate, construction, homeowner associations, trusts and high-net-worth individuals, providing clients with personalized, relationship-driven service rather than the highly institutionalized approach found at many larger firms.

Job Details
The firm is seeking an experienced Tax Partner who can take on a significant leadership role within the practice and contribute to both client service and the continued growth of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted tax advisor to a diverse portfolio of individual and business clients.
Oversee and review complex federal and state tax returns and related compliance matters.
Provide tax planning and consulting services to business owners, individuals, trusts and other clients.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and develop new business.
Provide technical tax guidance and mentorship to tax professionals within the firm.
Participate in firm-level strategy, business development and operational decisions.
Collaborate with other partners and professionals across tax, audit, accounting and consulting.
Help identify opportunities to improve processes, technology, service offerings and overall client experience.
Take an active role in the continued growth and development of the firm's tax practice.
What We're Looking For
CPA license required.
Significant public accounting experience with a strong concentration in taxation.
Demonstrated experience advising closely held businesses, business owners and/or high-net-worth individuals.
Strong technical knowledge of federal taxation; state and local tax experience is a plus.
Experience reviewing complex tax returns and providing tax planning and advisory services.
Strong client relationship and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop business and cultivate long-term client relationships.
Leadership experience within a CPA/public accounting environment.
Entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in ownership and building the future of a firm, rather than simply managing a book of business.
