A bit about us:Looking experienced HVAC Superintendent to join our growing multifamily construction team. In this role, you'll take a hands-on leadership position overseeing HVAC installations across multiple active projects, working closely with foremen, general contractors, and project teams to keep work progressing safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of multifamily HVAC construction experience, strong knowledge of VRF/VRV systems and other complex HVAC equipment, and a proven ability to manage multiple jobsites and field teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned HVAC professional who enjoys being in the field, solving problems, leading people, and playing a key role in delivering large-scale multifamily projects

Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Oversee HVAC installation across approximately 5-6 multifamily projects
- Lead and coordinate multiple foremen across different jobsites
- Visit jobsites regularly to monitor progress, installation quality, productivity, and schedule
- Review HVAC installations for compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable mechanical codes
- Attend jobsite meetings and coordinate directly with general contractors
- Oversee installation of duct systems and HVAC equipment
- Provide field knowledge related to split systems, VRF/VRV, ERVs, RTUs, DOAS, and related equipment
- Assist with material ordering, procurement, and takeoffs
- Review drawings and assist with field coordination and ductwork sketching
- Perform and support quality-control inspections
- Identify installation issues and work with foremen and project teams to resolve them
- Monitor jobsite progress and help ensure projects remain on schedule
- Use iPad, email, and Procore for project communication and documentation
- Travel throughout Northern Virginia, DC, Maryland, and occasionally the Baltimore area
- Periodically report to the Manassas office
- Maintain effective communication with project management, general contractors, foremen, and field teams
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience overseeing HVAC installation on multifamily projects
- Strong hands-on experience with duct systems and HVAC equipment installation
- Experience with split systems, VRV/VRF, ERVs, RTUs, and/or DOAS
- Experience performing material takeoffs and ordering materials
- Ability to read plans and sketch ductwork/field solutions
- Strong knowledge of mechanical codes applicable to multifamily construction
- Experience with jobsite quality control and installation inspections
- Experience leading foremen and multiple active jobsites
- Ability to participate in meetings with general contractors and other project stakeholders
- Proficiency with Procore, iPad, and email
- Clean driving record and ability to qualify for company vehicle insurance
- Willingness to travel throughout DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia, with occasional Baltimore-area projects
