Summary

We are looking for Manual Tester - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Mason, OH.

Job Title: Manual Tester - Remote / Telecommute

Job Location: Mason, OH

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $37hr - $42hr

Requirement/Must Have:

5-10 years of Manual Testing experience.
Strong Pharmacy/Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) domain experience.
Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence.
Ability to create, track, and manage defects.
Experience participating in and driving defect triage discussions.

Responsibilities:

Analyze business and functional requirements related to Pharmacy and PBM applications.
Design, develop, and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
Identify, document, track, and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in defect triage meetings and drive discussions to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate functionality.
Validate end-to-end Pharmacy/PBM business processes and workflows.
Maintain testing documentation, test evidence, and defect reports.
Provide regular status updates on testing progress, risks, and quality metrics.
Support production validation and post-release testing activities.

Nice to Have:

Experience working with Healthcare or Health Insurance clients.
Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards.
Exposure to API testing and backend validations.
ISTQB Certification or relevant QA certifications preferred.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Qualification And Education:

Strong experience in Manual Testing methodologies and best practices.
Experience in Test Planning, Test Case Creation, Test Execution, and Test Reporting.
Expertise in Defect Lifecycle Management and Root Cause Analysis.
Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation is preferred.
