Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to work on a Python-based, AWS-native data ingestion platform. This platform leverages CDK infrastructure, Glue/Spark consumers, and Lambda/ECS/Flink pipelines to move financial data from source systems into a third-party application. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python and AWS technologies, along with a solid understanding of data protection standards and security compliance.
Responsibilities: - Build and maintain pipeline stages across ingestion, validation, tokenization, reformatting, and publishing.
- Develop and execute rigorous unit and end-to-end testing for pipeline components.
- Support end-to-end/system test phases to ensure platform reliability and performance.
- Ensure compliance with data-protection standards, including sensitive data handling (HSHD).
- Remediate security findings and vulnerabilities across the codebase and dependencies.
Qualifications: - Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Extensive experience with AWS services, including Lambda, ECS, Kinesis, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, and CDK.
- Solid understanding of Git and CI/CD best practices.
- Experience with data ingestion platforms and financial data processing is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Pay Range: $70 - $75
