Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager for a contract role to support and lead business transformation initiatives. This position will organize multiple workstreams, with a primary focus on improving the customer onboarding and commercialization process, including ERP system integration. The role requires a strong project management background to coordinate with other project managers, track progress, and provide status updates to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate multiple transformation workstreams in tandem.
- Own project management for a key initiative focused on improving the customer onboarding and commercialization process.
- Create and maintain weekly and monthly status updates for leadership and board-level reporting.
- Coordinate with project managers to document workstreams, track progress, and ensure alignment across initiatives.
- Help drive business process transformation efforts aimed at improving efficiency and enhancing the customer experience.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment across departments to ensure successful adoption of improved processes.
- Manage project execution from scoping through implementation, including timeline management and risk mitigation.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience in project management or business transformation roles.
- A strong project management background is the highest priority.
- Experience producing executive and board-level communications and updates.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and lead through collaboration without direct authority.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
- Strong communication, accountability, and follow-through skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).
- Process analyst background or experience in business process transformation.
- A background in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with enterprise systems such as WMS, MES, & ERP systems.
