Job Summary The NetSuite Data Steward is responsible for ensuring that business data being prepared, transformed, validated, and loaded into NetSuite is accurate, complete, consistent, and ready for business use. The role works closely with business process owners, functional consultants, technical teams, and project management to resolve data issues and support successful testing, migration, and stabilization. Key Responsibilities Review source data and NetSuite data templates for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to agreed standards. Coordinate data collection from business stakeholders and follow up on missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information. Cleanse, standardize, map, and validate master and transactional data before migration into NetSuite. Support data conversion activities, including extracts, transformations, mock loads, reconciliations, and final production loads. Identify data-quality issues, document root causes, and coordinate timely resolution with business and technical teams. Maintain data trackers, issue logs, validation results, approvals, and supporting documentation. Reconcile source-system data against NetSuite after each migration cycle and confirm record counts, balances, and key attributes. Support business users during testing by investigating data-related defects and coordinating corrections. Ensure customer, vendor, item, chart of accounts, employee, subsidiary, and other master data follows agreed governance standards. Assist with duplicate detection, data ownership, naming conventions, mandatory fields, and data-retention requirements. Escalate risks that may affect testing, cutover, reporting, or business readiness. Support cutover preparation and post-go-live stabilization for data-related issues. Build strong working relationships with business owners and serve as a point of contact for NetSuite data questions. Required Qualifications Experience supporting NetSuite implementations, data migration, or ERP master-data activities. Working knowledge of NetSuite records, subsidiaries, customers, vendors, items, accounting data, and transaction structures. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, data comparisons, and reconciliation. Ability to understand business processes across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies across large datasets. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple follow-ups, deadlines, and stakeholder dependencies. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with CSV imports, saved searches, data-load templates, and NetSuite reporting. Experience with data-quality and governance processes. Experience supporting ERP data conversion, testing, and cutover activities. Key Deliverables Completed and validated data templates. Data-quality and issue-resolution tracker. Source-to-target mapping documentation. Mock-load and reconciliation results. Business approval and sign-off evidence. Cutover data-readiness status. Post-load validation and defect-resolution reports. Measures of Success Data is submitted on time and meets required quality standards. Migration errors and rejected records are minimized. Data issues are identified early and resolved before cutover. Reconciliation results are complete and approved by business owners. Stakeholders receive timely and clear updates on data readiness. Demonstrates increasing NetSuite functional understanding and progresses toward a NetSuite functional lead or solution-architecture role. Education: Bachelors Degree
